1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Evopolls, whether as an event organiser or a voter, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our voting services.

2 About Evopolls

Evopolls provides digital voting technology for awards, contests, pageants, elections, and audience choice campaigns. Our platform supports voting across web, SMS, USSD, WhatsApp, and Telegram, enabling organisers to run secure and scalable voting events.

3 Event Organiser Responsibilities

Event organisers are solely responsible for their event rules, contestant details, categories, pricing, voting timelines, and winner selection. Organisers must clearly communicate their terms to voters and ensure that all information provided through the platform is accurate and lawful.

4 Voter Responsibilities

Voters must provide accurate payment and contact details where required by the event. Before completing a transaction, voters are responsible for confirming their vote selection and payment details, including the contestant, category, and amount.

5 Paid Voting and Payments

• Paid votes are processed through available payment methods such as mobile money, card, and PayPal where supported.
• Voters should confirm the amount before authorising payment.
• Payments may be subject to provider processing times and fees outside of Evopolls' control.

6 Vote Confirmation

Votes are credited once payment is successfully confirmed by the payment provider or the Evopolls system. Until confirmation is received, a vote may appear as pending and will not be counted.

7 Refund Policy

Voting payments are generally non-refundable once successfully processed, except where required by law or where Evopolls confirms a technical or payment error. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis in coordination with the relevant payment provider and event organiser.

8 Platform Availability

Evopolls aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Service may be affected by networks, payment providers, telcos, hosting, or other third-party interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9 Prohibited Use

Users must not engage in fraud, vote manipulation, unauthorised access, automated abuse, or any attempt to compromise the integrity of voting. Evopolls reserves the right to suspend access and invalidate votes associated with prohibited activity.

10 Results and Disputes

Event organisers own the final event rules and winner decisions unless Evopolls is contracted to independently audit or manage results. Disputes regarding event outcomes should be directed to the relevant event organiser.

11 Intellectual Property

The Evopolls brand and platform belong to Evopolls / Turelabs. Event content, including contestant information, images, and branding, belongs to the respective organisers or rights holders.

12 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evopolls shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our voting services, including losses caused by third-party payment providers, telcos, or network interruptions.

13 Changes to Terms

Evopolls may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
